Bahren Shaari brings with him extensive leadership experience across banking, private wealth management and financial institutions.
He is widely recognised as one of Asia’s respected financial services leaders, with deep expertise in building successful wealth management businesses, developing client-centric strategies and leading complex organisations.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Singapore, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening its position as one of Asia’s leading private banks and enhancing its capabilities in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across the region.
Beyond his executive leadership roles, Bahren contributes actively through governance and public service appointments. He is a Member of the Council of Presidential Advisers of Singapore, reflecting his strong institutional perspective, commitment to governance and contribution to Singapore’s public service.
As Senior Advisor to the GEC, Bahren will provide strategic counsel and independent perspectives to the Group CEO and GEC on matters including long-term strategy, global expansion, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, leadership development, governance and organisational effectiveness.
His extensive industry experience, deep market relationships and understanding of wealth management will be invaluable as WRISE continues to strengthen its leadership capabilities and accelerate its growth journey.
